Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has facilitated to apply drone approval online for drone brought by tourist who are on their holiday in Sri Lanka. As per the Sri Lankan low, its illegal to operate a private drone and must obtain the pre-approval from Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka but now this facility is available online via https://portal.caa.lk/drone/apply-now/index.html
