Sri Lanka National Park entrance fees have been increased with effect from 1st Sep 2022 as per the below schedule in accordance with the Gazette Notification No. 2292/11 Aug 2022 for both local and foreign travelers.
But special discount granted for the travelers who are from SAARC countries ( Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan). As per this revision, latest entrance fees for Yala / Wilpattu / Minneriya Udawalawe will be 14.920 Rupees per person including all taxes. Refer below table for detail update.

This is for peak period and the off peak rates will be lower by 5 – 10 USD.
As per the latest Gazette Notification, Sri Lanka National Park entry fee will be based on the tourist season such as peak season or high season and the off peak or lower season.

Until Aug 2022, most of the Sri Lankan National park entrance fees for foreigner was 15$ + Taxes and same has been increased almost by 75% (15 $ To 25 $) as per the latest gazette notification. If we compare this with other neighboring countries like India, Bandhawgarh National Park entrance fees is 54 $ per person (Foreign passport) and the Sri Lanka while Sri Lanka latest price is approximately 42 $ per person (As of 3rd Sep 2022) including all taxes. Stake holders in Travel and tourism sector in Sri Lanka are discussing this entrance fees hike on how this affect to the travel trade. Wildlife holidays plays a vital role in Sri Lanka tourism sector for last many years.
