Sri Lanka Tourism and the Embassy in Stockholm presented Destination Sri Lanka at the Travel News Market (TNM) - Sweden’s premier Tourism event on Thursday (11 November) at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre.
Sri Lanka has open it’s boarders since August for tourist and hoping to accept more arrivals after almost 2 years downfall. Many travel bloggers / travel news agencies declared Sri Lanka as a best destination in 2022. 
The Sweden Sri Lanka Business Council and its Secretary General Mr. Leif Ohlson as well the SriLankan Airlines GSA in Sweden also participated at the TNM, 2021.
The Scandinavian region has been identified as an emerging priority market for tourism to Sri Lanka. Tourism related trade fairs in Sweden and Denmark are key industry events.The annual Travel News Market(TNM ) - a B2B event - will reconvene on Thursday, 22 November 2022, in Stockholm.
Ceylon Expeditions, a tourist board approved travel agent in Sri Lanka has already started it’s operation after 2 years silent due to covid outbreak offering newest holiday packages in Sri Lanka including luxury tailor made holidays / Ramayana tour packages / spiritual and Buddhist pilgrimage holidays in Sri Lanka.
