New entrance gate for Horton Pains National Park has introduced by The Department of Wildlife Conservations (DWC) Sri Lanka as “Dayagama” which is also about 5 KM away from the main entrance gate of Horton Plains. Ticket counter also deployed to facilitate both local & foreign travellers.
There would be no provision for vehicles to enter through entrance of Dayagama as well and the road would serve as a natural walkway for visitors to stroll or ride bicycles.
