Sri Lanka has re-opened its baorders for Indian tourist after a long closure due to Covid pandemic. India is a contributing a considerable  portion of total tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka. After the civil war, Indian people start visiting Sri Lanka and by 2019, India became one of the major contributors of Sri Lanka tourism industry. Ramayana yatra related sites in Sri Lanka is one of the key reasons that Inda tourists visit Sri Lanka and among other travel products such as honeymoon tour packages / wildlife photography / general family holidyas etc. 

The Sri Lankan Airlines also will operate a revised flight schedule between India & Sri Lanka to support the revamp of the post covid tourism industry.
